i am looking 2 get a DD- gotta be manual and great on gasmileage and insurance. will be saving up once get some money from 18th b-day.
i was looking into something like this. is there anything i should look for when going 2
buy these cars (1992 to 1996 civic's)???
thanks for the help guys. BTW what kinda mpg do they get? 30 to 35mpg, reliable?? i might put cams in it for shits and giggles.

look for a toyota mr2 like 80's style. they get 15 mpg when you beat them and it should return mid 20's when you drive it nice. or anything rly with the 4ag motor. a corolla fx16 is a hatch and by far the lightest and fastest chassis stock that the 4ag was shoved into.

i need good gasmielage. i am gonna be putting a built, cam'd. turbo'd 4.3L back into the blazer with a built 4l60e and ford 8.8" which wont be good on gasmileage so i need something GREAT on gasmileage and be fun

4ag= 1.5-6 liters depending on year and car. its gotta be good on gas with that smalll of a motor.

if you don't care about power, a crx hf gets 49/52 mpg and they are pretty cheap.

buy my RSX man. 27-29mpg city, manual, and runs 13s :thumbsup:
you mean caM if it's an old civic that's not an SI or swapped.

that was the base rsx? they pwn me in gas mileage, prob get low 30s.

great gas mileage and fun, but you were looking at a civic. you on crack? there's a guy selling a mk2 jetta for under $1k. ill try and find the number and picture..

BTW, look for one like mine...You can find them everywhere....4afe motor....1.6L DOHC, 30+ miles per gallon.....9 Gallons to fill up, and will go for 300+ miles....I love my car...

i'm selling my 92 civic. 8 gallons to fill up and gets 250mi to a tank. allot more if on the highway and not racing it.

I'm pretty sure his has larger injectors and uses a lot more fuel under load.
