ran @ immokalee regional raceway 2night.
the truck as it was run 2night-
custom rearmount turbo set-up @ 11psi
base tune (really safe mail order tune)
Lakewood Traction bars
B&M shift kit + vette servos
UD pullies
OPEN DIFFRENTIAL w/ 3.42's on SHITTY falken Ziex tires.
PREVIOUS BEST- 8.81 @ 77mph with a 1.9 60ft.
made 3 passes-
First pass-
launched with 2psi and spun to the 60ft feathering the throttle and then just romp'd on it when i got traction..... better my last trap speed bye 3mph so was kinda happy.
E.T.-9.5
MPH-80
60'- 2.5
Second pass- SRT-10 RCSB OWNED HIM
Launched with no boost, and rolled into the throttle lightly, spun very little and chirped going into second
E.T.- 8.6484
MPH- 82mph
60'- 2.17
RT- .598(left on the third light and it paid off)
Third Pass- vs. 05 mustang GT- intake/tune
Had to back up the time- so i stalled it up just enough to have 0vac/psi and rolled into the throttle.
E.T- 8.6286
MPH-83mph
60'- 2.13
RT- .614
And i finished the night off with no oil pressure. feedline to the turbo had come off, but got it fixed and filled her back up with oil and its running fine again.
but all in all- a 6mph improvment, and .2 seconds off is awsome in my book especially when the 60ft. is .2 seconds slower. + i got to kill a 500hp truck :D- the SRT-10 ran 9.1

yeah the mph is showing the power that im making compared to last time. with a 1.9 or 1.8 60ft i think 8.4 to 8.2 is in the bag- prolly gonna need a posi. i need a tune which im getting hptuners real soon.

jizzer your 60'fts wont be anything special because you dont make enough power to cut better than a 1.9 in that heavy ass thing.

steve.... i already cut a 1.91 @ 8psi with a 200lbs passenger, open diff, 3.42's and full sound system, i can get 1.8 60ft.s easy with posi and Drag radials and launching with boost- then throw a 3k stall in it and get even more.
btw my truck weighs 3300lbs. your camaro prolly aint much lighter

I can't believe your blazer weighs 200lbs less than the GTP. Anyway, those are some awesome times! Had you gotten your 60 down a couple of tenths, you might have gotten a flat 13.

then your weak ass tranny will take a shit, a stall will kill that tranny and a vette servo is a fucking joke btw. My advice to you, you made a cool lil thing, dont push it much further or you will dig yourself into a hole. Im sure that motor wont be able to take much more of a beating, nor will that trans. Your trap speeds are crap, im not trying to be mean im just trying to get the point across that if you really want to start going somewhere, invest it into a platform that will handle the kind of power or speed you want to go. Personally i would go get a pussy 2-3k 5.0 with an AOD in it and build a lil turbo kit for that if you still wanna play with hair dryers... You would be much more happy with something like that.
I never got to fully stomp on the camaro with spray nor did i ever get to spray it, but i built my platform for what i wanted to do and after all the money i spent, and the hit i am about to take selling it, trust me, make sure its something you plan on keeping for a very very long time...and make sure its not something you plan on driving every day...
keep the blazer how it is, so you can still drive it around and not have to worry about it, save up for a few months and get a car to race... with a mustang you have re-sale value, how many camaros do you see running around like mine that are fast? not many, and there isnt a big market for them which is why im getting fucked with mine, but its money in the bank and 5 years of memories... just consider what im saying...

few reasons... i have my AA after this semester and i may go away to college up state (still un-decided) and i would just like the money in the bank.
Parents are divorcing and i still live at home, would like the money in the bank just in case anything were to happen...
I have enough saved up now, to where i could get 1 really nice baller car, or get a nice 04 civic or something and reap the nice gas mpg for a change and build another car in 6-7 months....
Basically I want the money in the bank until I know what I want to do. I really dont want to sell the camaro, but at the same time I rarely drive it as it is, because of the price of gas and the fact that every other time i get in it i get to go to the dmv and pay a ticket lol. So I am just gonna get out of the car scene for a while... I still have the 347 mustang in the garage that my little brother dosnt really want anymore so I have a toy to still play with when the mood strikes me...
I may have a buyer next week, so we shall see...
edit: when i build another car it will go 7's lol, im not playing with this gay street car shit anymore...

steve. are you upset that the blazer is getting fast??? i know the limits of the truck and transmission, thats why im doing alot of drivetrain work next and not throwing a shit ton more power @ it. i understand my tranny is going to take a shit. i think you just dont want a blazer to run high 7's on stock motor, there are guys running 17psi on my motor just fine STOCK BOTTOM END. i dont plan on uping the boost but maybe 1 or 2 more psi. i have enough money in the bank to to put a built transmission and motor in it that im saving for IF I NEED TO which is what im trying to avoid. the money is just insurance money. this by no means, means that i want to blow it up. if you see my mods that i plan non of them will reduce driveability or reliability. A tune, full ignition, some more tranny work, posi and DR's and suspension. im gonna start going with the mikesvo moto of just tuning, tuning, tuning and dialing it in.
there are guys running 700whp on this transmission, if its built correctly its a strong transmission. sorry you got shitty one's.
im happy with the blazer. i plan on keeping the blazer for a very long time, im going to be getting a DD soon enough and build the blazer the way i want it which is a turbo v8. but i want to get 7's @ IRR on stock motor.
i know that fox bodies are easy to make go fast. i dont care. everyone and there mom has one. who has a fast blazer?????? or quick. there are so many. so many sprayed, so many s/c, and so many turbo ones there is nothing unique to do.
i dont know why your so against the blazer. once it becomes my non DD it getting alot of work but until then it isnt.

Just to get a little of topic 02vortech (dont know ya name yet) Im guessing you go to my gym? I think I saw your blazer at the omni. also there was a boosted light blue crx there with slips in the back and gold rims in the front.
I just thought it was cool, and I dont know what u looked like so i didnt see you inside. Oh well
The times are pretty good, and its pretty badass cause your the only turbo blazer i know of.

an old 740 RWD manual Volvo, good MPG, safe, reliable, lots of parts- it wont be stock but it will be VERY CLEAN- i just want some RWD and a reliable easy to work on turbo car as a DD- my problem is i cant leave anything stock.
