getting a gokart for autocross

my friend has a racing gokart that he is going to seel me for 200bucks, it has hydraulic disc brakes, slicks, its a 5 horse engine bored to a 9 horse. im just wondering if there is any regulations on gokarts, on how they have to be built or what not. any ideas let me know please :thumbsup:

I have no idea. Your best bet is when you come out this month talk to the guys who run them. There is one guy with a QUICK cart that is there every month.

i would think leathers would be in order for those, not sure though.

Hmmm...I think there are some specs on which type of gocarts can run and which ones can't...check out the SCCA class spec.. :whoknows:
