where do you guys get your R comps from and how expensive are they on average?

Tire Rack.

I really, really wouldn't go there until you have autocrossed at least a year on street tires. It hides mistakes, and covers up suspension misconfigurations.

I would have liked to run streets longer, but competition dictated my switch.

don't think your suspension will keep you in the stock class.

you can have springs and struts in the "stock" class. doesnt matter, cuz they wouldnt let me run my seat or remove AC or a bunch of other stuff, so prepared class here i come! lol

+1 on waiting on R-comps until you have more experience.

you are allowed shocks in stock class, NOT springs.

Man it would suck to spend the cash on r-comps just to burn them up drifting. Why not get some sticky street tires?

I think you should run street tires for a while before going to Rcomps. Also, you can't have springs in a stock class.

Ohh yeah man, I totally get what you're saying. Seriously though, Rcomps tend to mask mistakes; in the end you'll be a better driver if you run street tires until you get the basics. Also, I think you'll have to swap the stock springs back on if you want to run stock class. Ultimately it's your decision though, you can do whatever you want. We're just trying to help out. :biggrin
