i have a 1988 crx si and was thinking about doing a swap but im not sure which is the best. i just bought a turbo kit but dont want to boost my d16 because i would only be boosting 3lbs. any suggestions on what to get?

if you want to have boost, go B18B, if you want N/A, go K20.

what is the difference between a b18b and b18c

i had a boosted b18c in my 89 crx. fun car if you want n/a go k20 though

the b18b is the non-vtec 1.8l dohc motor that came in the integra ls/gs/se. it was rated at 142hp & 127 lb/ft of torque at the crank
the b18c is the 1.8l dohc motor with vtec that came in the integra gsr. it was rated at 180hp & 129 lb/ft of torque at the crank.
either one is a good choice for swapping and slapping a turbo on. i went with the b18b because it was way cheaper.

you can boost 10 on a sohc and be fine

hey good idea but did u say last week u were gettin rid of ur turbo, and gettin 50 trim
ur manifold can hold it
