Had a Buddy in PA did a Stroked Lt1 ( 383 ) with a 200shot and that fucking thing destroyed alot of people. Painted it Green did a little 2in cowl hood didn't sound like much but when he opened the exhaust and hit the Juice at 60mph would light them up being so light in the rear end. I think Chevy should build truck like that, would be a huge market.

i used to talk with a guy who had a blazer like mine only his was an LQ9 iron block LSX block, (much cheaper then the aluminum LS1/LS6 or LS2 blocks) With a 67mm turbo up front under the hood. On 8psi the truck went 11.2 @ 120mph. That was on a turbo 400 + 4000stall etc. But still stock motor + 8psi low 11's = lol.


You could turbo a 4.3L.... I have tested there durability first hand lol :D

125 whp shot on mine for a year with no tune just colder plugs
then i beat the living shit out of mine for another year and a half with 13psi never missing a beat. only burnt up some valves but w/e. truck still runs...

i love ls1's but for god sake everyone uses them now. I like being different.

I know the LS1's are bein used a lot, especially in 240sx and rx7's I've been seeing a lot lately, but nothing sounds as good as a chevy v8 in my opinion, and putting a built LS1 in my truck is just...exciting


but at the same time it would be badass to have a turbo on my 4.3 vvvmmmm ttssss lol; saw one on youtube with twin turbos pushin about 1100hp...just wouldn't know where to even begin with that build....


better yet what would be badass is the rear mount turbos(correct name??) it would be sick to tie that in with the cut out in the bed so you could see it with the airbag set up I'll have in the rear. ((how's that for different))

what do you guys think of a rear mount with the 4.3L that's in it? then eventually when I can afford more I'll put a bigger engine in there(probably LS1)

lock up the rear diff, maybe a better clutch and all those whatnots...I think the coolest part about it will be when I get it bagged you'll be able to see the turbo right behind/in front of the the whole set up.

I DID HAVE A REARMOUNT 4.3L the fucker rode out. 7.7 @ immokalee on 12psi with no tune and no meth on pump gas. With meth and if i had done the boost pipes a more effcient way that truck would have gone 7.4's easy @ immokalee if not faster. The 4.3L is a monster. just get it tuned and make sure you have enough fuel. I still ahve my fuel system for my truck if you want it. let me know. ill give you a good price ;)

I know that you will need to get a couple of vette accessorys to go with some f-body accessorys to fit in just right.

yeah older guy, white hair, tall, probably some sort of mercedes...they always had mercedes, porsches etc. got my first original shelby cobra, vette, and baricuda rides from him when i was a kid.
